A full-service public library, Albany Public Library is open seven days a week, for all residents, providing resources for education and entertainment.

  • Materials: nearly 200,000 books, movies, recorded books, music CDs, computer games, magazines; 30 public access Internet workstations
  • Programing: five weekly story times for all ages, year ‘round; adult book clubs; Anime Club for teens; 30 Summer Reading Program events; parenting classes; seasonal events; music; lectures
  • Online riches: electronic and digital audiobooks, scores of reference databases, enriched catalog, personal account access
  • A place: public meeting rooms; small group study rooms; comfortable and welcoming; free wifi; information professionals  to answer questions
