Supporting parents in Oregon's Linn and Benton Counties
The 2021 Oregon Parenting Educators Conference and Training Institute will be a virtual event May 3-6, 2021. This is a fantastic opportunity to access quality trainings and network with other parenting education professionals.
The Conference (May 3 & 4) showcases keynote speaker, Chandra Ghosh Ippen, and two 60-minute sessions of workshop presentations each day covering research information, awareness, and practical application strategies that support effective parenting education. There will be virtual resource fair, poster sessions, and opportunities for networking. Participants will earn 6 hours of training hours and have access to all session recordings for six months.
May 3 & 4

$115 for both days
The Training Institute (May 5 & 6) will provide in-depth and focused 3-hour live training sessions delivered in two 90-minute sessions each day. Topics include leadership skill building, facilitating challenges, LGBTQ+ and gender education, antiracist education, resilience interventions, self-reflection to further equity in service, inclusion in the classroom (in Spanish), and understanding childhood trauma (in Spanish). Participants will earn 3 hours of training hours for each day, and must be present at the live training to receive a certificate. These sessions will not be recorded.
